Mariah and Will | A La Fonda Wedding | Santa Fe, NM Wedding Photographer | Santa Fe, NM Wedding Videographers

A La Fonda Wedding in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Mariah and Will had a stunning wedding at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is a wonderful place to be wed. La Fonda is the only hotel situated on the historic Santa Fe Plaza. This area is a wedding photographer’s dream! Or any photographer for that matter.

Santa Fe Plaza is dripping with old-world charm and authentic New Mexican style. I took full advantage of this while I walked the newlyweds around for some great shots on their wedding day.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Carter delved straight into New Mexico culture with their entire wedding. You can see the Southwest style in each detail, from the bright orange and red flowers in the bride’s bouquet to the turquoise jewelry and different shades of blue and turquoise bridesmaids dresses.

Not to mention the cute cactuses on their wedding invitations! And when you get to the bottom of the photos you’ll see the mariachi band leading the wedding party to their next destination. I loved every bit of it!

Mariah and Will were such sweethearts and I fully enjoyed working with each of them to make their wedding dreams a reality. We captured the love, the laughter, and the tears. They will be able to look back on the very special moments of each reciting their uniquely written wedding vows to each other whenever they need a little reminder of where it all started.

This is what I live for! Capturing each special moment for my couples to cherish forever. So beautiful!

If you haven’t noticed yet, La Fonda at the Plaza is an overwhelmingly stunning location to have a wedding. Everywhere you turn there is another great photo location. The buildings are all breathtaking and Southwest culture is in every little thought out detail that you can see.

This truly is an unforgettable wedding destination. La Fonda has a special place in history as the oldest hotel corner in America! City records date the hotel all the way back to 1607 when the Spaniards founded the city.

This stunning wedding took place at the Sandia Event Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The landscaping at this wedding venue is absolutely breathtaking! Plus, they have an amazing view of our beautiful mountain range.

Sandia’s event lawn gives all the greenery needed for bright outdoor wedding photos. And they have a glistening pond of water… not too bad for our little slice of desert here in Albuquerque.

The wedding party looked amazing! The ladies wore burgundy bridesmaids dresses and the men came to impress with their charcoal slacks and vests accentuating the bridesmaids with their burgundy ties.

Summer wore a strapless lace wedding gown with a long veil flowing from her chic updo. While her newlywed husband, Brandon subtly stood out from the groomsmen with his charcoal blazer.

The groomsmen had some fun with their socks. Each wore a pair that was unique to them. These are always fun pictures to take! I spot Captain America, Hey Arnold, Cookie Monser, Donuts, and… black socks? Really? Too funny!

We had pretty great weather during their wedding for the most part, except when some rain decided to come down. But, never fear! We’re always prepared! Not only that, but these umbrellas make great photo props! Check them out below!

What a great looking group of people! They make my job easy! I really enjoyed capturing all of these special moments for Summer and Brandon. They will forever have these photos and their highlight video to cherish as they live their “happily ever after” together.

Valeria and Zachary | A Hotel Parq Central Wedding | Albuquerque Wedding Photographer | Santa Fe, NM Wedding Photographers

A Hotel Parq Central Wedding in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Valeria and Zachary had their wedding ceremony at the stunning San Jose Parish located in Downtown Albuquerque. This beautiful catholic church was built in 1938!

Albuquerque history will be mentioned several times in this blog because their wedding was full of our culture and history. The couple made great choices on their wedding and reception venues, as well as their wedding photographer, of course! Take a look at some of the amazing architecture yourself!

After the ceremony was finished we went over to Hotel Parq Central which is also in the Downtown Albuquerque area. This is another historical building here in Albuquerque. Hotel Parq Central was built in 1926! The newlywed’s entire wedding is steeped in rich Albuquerque history.

The rooftop lounge in the hotel gave us a bird’s eye view of Downtown Albuquerque and our amazing Southwest sunset which provided us with some great intimate photos of the Bride and Groom. I love the way the sunset shines behind them in these photos. What great memories they will be able to look back on and cherish as they build a life together.

Another great thing about this hotel is that they only host one wedding per day. So our couple had the full attention they deserved during this once in a lifetime event.

Valeria looked absolutely stunning in her long white lace wedding gown and veil. Her newlywed husband, Zachary looked equally dapper wearing a dark blue suit with brown dress shoes and a pale pink bowtie. They had their little man dressed up in the same outfit, so cute!

The bridesmaids wore pale pink dresses matching the groomsmen’s pink ties. Their flower bouquets brought the whole look together with green foliage and pink and white roses and carnations. The whole wedding party gathered around Hotel Parq’s green garden and tranquil fountain for some great pictures together.

I really loved the large staircase in front of the hotel and the balcony that emphasizes the historic architecture of this building. So many gorgeous opportunities for some great wedding photos. I couldn’t be happier with how they came out!

Congratulations Valeria and Zachary, it was wonderful getting to partner with you on your big day. We wish nothing but the best for you and your family!
