Lauren Cherie Photography is a Family-Centered Company
Today I wanted to talk a little bit about how this whole thing started. Both Chris and I are RN’s! We worked the 9 - 5’s and the 12-hour hospital shifts. We juggled careers and kids. I was a mother-baby nurse at UNM hospital and worked the night shift. As much as I loved working with the newborn babies and their moms, the micromanagement and long shifts were exhausting.
We both had little flexibility to really be there with our daughter in the ways we wanted to. We had obligations to be at our jobs for a set amount of time and we certainly couldn’t bring her with us. That’s why we started LCP as a kid-friendly, family-centered company.
Fast forward to today… Two more kids (for a total of 3) and a thriving photography business. We both quit our jobs and went after this passion to use our creativity in creating beautiful wedding videos and capturing precious moments of many local and non-local families. We take our kids with us everywhere. They get to see everything we do at Lauren Cherie Photography. Sometimes they’re even a part of the LCP experience.
We’ve had some photography clients ask where our kids are when we show up without them. They’re a big part of this dream. Family is important and we love that we get to do this. Capturing beautiful memories for countless families all while creating our own special memories.
