Fall Family Portraits in Albuquerque, New Mexico

I will never get over the beauty of dusk in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, New Mexico! For those not local, the Sandias turn a gorgeous watermelon tone right at sunset, which is one of my favorite times to shoot here! When visiting, taking a ride of the Sandia Peak Tramway and dining at Ten 3 on top of the mountain are absolute musts. The mountain also offers gorgeous hiking along La Luz Trail and plenty of skiiing and outdoor adventure.

The Abascal family shone BRIGHT in their family fall photo session in the foothills. They chose to go with an outfit change which offered variation of both formal and casual looks! We always strive to get a few individual and family camera poses, but also capture more, candid, fun and often super silly poses!

Fall Engagement Photo Session

All I can say is WOW! Natalie and Andy’s engagement photo session blew me away with the all of the pretty Fall colors paired with their stunning, elegant wardrobe choices! They were simply radiant against the golden tones that New Mexico’s most amazing season offers. Natalie’s olive green dress + Andy’s navy blue suit was the absolute perfect combination for their engagement photo session. There are so many gorgeous places to shoot a session in Albuquerque. Some of our favorites are the Elena Gallegos Open Space, the Paseo de Bosque Nature Trail, and even White Sands National Park in Alamogordo, NM. SO many options for locations to choose from.

I love that I am able to capture a small glimpse into all of my couple’s epic love stories! There is nothing that can compare to the excitement of new adventures in partnership. What better way to celebrate than with a champagne toast! It was definitely in order to celebrate their amazing unity. CHEERS to wedded bliss in November 2021!

One Year Milestone Cake Smash Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Canaan’s blue and silver themed cake smash photo session in our studio to celebrate his big FIRST birthday was a total hit! All of the different blues in the props really tied together perfectly. He looked so dapper and adorable in his royal blue bow tie and suspenders, even while covered in cake! And that shot of his first bite of cake was so precious - his eyes totally lit up after tasting the yumminess. The bath splash definitely came in close second to the cake. He sure did make a big splash!

I have the best job in the world being able to commemorate such precious once-in-a life time moments in a child’s life. It truly is the best. Happy FIRST Birthday Canaan!
