It was so much fun to capture Eden so pretty in pink for her one year cake smash photo session! Eden was a little unsure about the delicious and gorgeous cake and decided it would be more fun to paint with it :) She did get a few tastes of the sweet icing and seemed to really love it!

Classic, floral boho was the theme for this photo shoot and I could not be happier with how it turned out. I love how easily customized this theme can be. There is an endless possibility of combinations of colors, textures, and accessories. This adorable baby girl wore her flowery headband, tulle skirt, and string of pearls perfectly. Love it so much!

One Year Milestone Cake Smash Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This seems to have been the moment Asher has waited for his whole life. He smashed his ENTIRE cake and loved every minute of it! We had a blast photographing this cutie for his one year milestone cake smash photography session in our studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The theme was simple with some natural, woodsy props mixed with pops of baby blue that really stood out!

Some of our babies are hesitant to dive into their cake, but not Asher. Messy babies are happy babies, right?

Wild One Year Milestone Cake Smash Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Nassar is a Wild ONE! I loved having sweet baby boy in my studio for his one year milestone cake smash session. The mix of neutrals was both understated and bold with the pops of black and gold in his birthday crown and his outfit. Check out those adorable suspenders!

The vision was tied together with some of the other cute props like the Wild One Banner with draping foliage garland behind it, adorable mini tent, and the birch ONE sign. We have just about any prop you may need to perfectly fit your theme and of course, we always offer them for free to our clients! I just love cake smash sessions! Your little one can let loose, explore food (sugar, lots of sugar!) in a new way, and then take a dip in our mini claw foot tub. I can’t decide if I like the messy, cake face or a splashing baby more! What’s your favorite?
