2021 Senior Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

I had a blast photographing University of New Mexico graduate Jon in Old Town Albuquerque for his senior photography session. There are some really cool backgrounds in Old Town that make for authentically local and unique photos! The pops of turquoise around this area, white washed and faded brick walls, and the gate with the metal Zia symbol are just a few favorite backdrops of mine.

It is always a fun experience to photograph a college graduate. Jon proudly donned his cap and gown in a few of the shots and they couldn’t have turned out more perfect. You can see his confidence (and probably relief) to have achieved such a milestone. It is such a huge accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated! What better way than with a photo session? Beautiful and talented 2021 Senior Briana is such a bright light in this crazy time! Check out her gorgeous pictures we shot of this soon to be Volcano Vista High School basketball and track star! She shined in multiple poses and outfits at the Alameda Open Space in the Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. The location is stunning for a relaxing stroll, amazing wildlife, and of course a great graduation photo session!

2020 has been such a hard time for high school Seniors to navigate. Despite the unknown future, there is still so much excitement and hope for the future while these brave seniors navigate into adulthood. It is such a precious milestone in every person’s life. I love when I can capture that special spark and excitement of the future to come!

We are quickly approaching the end of the 2019-2020 school year! Can you believe your teenager is at the end of their high school journey!? I will say this again and again, they grow up way too fast! I love getting creative with senior photography. There are so many different locations around Albuquerque to choose from for an outdoor photo session. Each senior always has a prop of their own to showcase what their interests are/were through high school. We’ve had seniors come with different sports equipment, their favorite band shirt, a letterman jacket, and their graduation cap and gown of course. These special touches make each senior photo session uniquely stand out and reflect the senior’s personality.
