A beautiful Newborn Photography Session in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Squishy cheeks, teeny toes, and buttery soft skin... just a few of the many adorable features of sweet, sweet newborns! Im so honored to be able to take newborn pictures for so many wonderful families! These pictures, above all others, will be cherished forever! 

This little cutie was a challenge! He was just 10 days new and cute as could be... but I guess he just didn't want his pictures taken! He gave me a run for my money but we were able to get some great images in the end! During the first half of his session, he didn't want to sleep... just wanted to eat! After a few feedings and 1 giant explosion, I managed to get him into a deep sleep with the help of my handy dandy space heater! 

For his session, he momma purchased the adorable sheriff's hat from Etsy, and we incorporated his Dad's actual sheriff's badge. SO STINKIN CUTE!!

His nursery was so cute in a "Super hero" theme, so naturally, I had to get some shots in there! 

His big sis was a huge help and I loved seeing how much she adores her little brother!

This super sweet couple were the lucky winners of Lauren Cherie Photography's "600 Likes" giveaway on Facebook! 

We ended up having to reschedule our session date several times due to windy weather conditions and ended up shooting her session 4 days before her due date! 

So glad it worked out before that sweet baby boy decided to make his appearance!

Albuquerque, NM Summer Maternity Photo Session at The Alameda Open Space

One of my favorite sessions (I know... I have a lot of them!) is Maternity! There is just something so magical about a woman carrying a growing child! 

Some of you may know that when I was pregnant with my daughter (who is now three), I never had any maternity pictures taken, and it is now one of my biggest regrets... EVER! My excuse was always that I was huge and didn't "feel" pretty. While that may have been how I felt at the time, I didn't stop to think about what I would be missing out on and what I would later regret. 

I want to stress to all you moms-to-be... YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! And believe me, you will want to look back at your photos of your growing belly one day and admire and reminisce on this magical time in your life!

This sweet momma-to-be was just about 39 weeks pregnant with her second and she looked just as beautiful as ever! And big sister-to-be was so excited to have a baby brother on the way! Alameda Open Space was the perfect location for this Maternity Photo Session.
