Christmas Mini Session Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico

The 4th annual Christmas mini sessions in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico were an absolute hit this year! There are so many locations in Historic Old Town to take amazing photos! This iconic cultural center offers over 100 shops, museums, culture, and to die for local New Mexican dining. You will find amazing local artists selling their jewelry, art, and handmade goods almost year round. It is an absolute must see if you are in town, especially around the holidays!

These portraits are just a few of my favorites! It is always so hard to choose because I absolutely love all the moments captured with all our sweet families especially during such a joy filled season :) Mini sessions are a great option for those that want a quick and easy session, which can be especially beneficial for families with little ones.

Fall Family Portraits in Albuquerque, New Mexico

I will never get over the beauty of dusk in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, New Mexico! For those not local, the Sandias turn a gorgeous watermelon tone right at sunset, which is one of my favorite times to shoot here! When visiting, taking a ride of the Sandia Peak Tramway and dining at Ten 3 on top of the mountain are absolute musts. The mountain also offers gorgeous hiking along La Luz Trail and plenty of skiiing and outdoor adventure.

The Abascal family shone BRIGHT in their family fall photo session in the foothills. They chose to go with an outfit change which offered variation of both formal and casual looks! We always strive to get a few individual and family camera poses, but also capture more, candid, fun and often super silly poses!

Fall Family Portraits in Albuquerque, New Mexico

I am so glad the Erickson chose the Bosque for their Fall family photo session this year. This location is the perfect place for family pictures. It is fairly private, kiddos can run around and be silly and you have gorgeous yellow and orange fall foliage. There is something so special when Fall meets winter.

The sun shining through the trees truly illuminated this gorgeous family. Sweet Savannah, who is turning one SO soon , was the perfect subject to shoot. She is an absolute doll and did amazing.
