Had such a great time with this family mini session...
I work with Rebecca at UNMH (Mother-baby unit), so we've known each other for a few years... It was a pleasure getting to meet her husband and kids! I loved photographing her and her sweet family! Aren't her kiddos too cute?

Outdoor Cake Smashes are so much fun! And I love this one in particular because of that gorgeous NM sun light! All of these images are drenched in that golden sun light!
Sarah did a great job with her session. And of course her big sister was a big help too! :)
After Sarah got her time with her cake, her big sis helped her finish it off!
Her mom wanted to incorporate pinks and purples and bubbles! So thats what we did... A pink banner, a fun colorful blanket, a purple cake (made special by her momma) and lots of bubbles! :)

This sweet little cutie is about to turn ONE! How exciting!
I never know what to expect at 1st birthday sessions! Sometimes the child LOVES the cake, and sometimes they don't want anything to do with it! And lets face it, sometimes they are terrified of being in front of the camera!
Not little Christian! He LOVED his cake and didn't mind being in front of the camera at all!
His mom wanted to do an outdoor cake smash at a park. Since its the mosquito time of year... I didn't really want to attempt anywhere near the Rio Grande river so, I immediately thought of Hartnett Park! I really like Hartnett park for its great year-round versatility. Really, its great for any type of session. it has lots of open green space, walking paths, lots of trees and Evergreens, old fences, and a neat stucco barn with big blue metal barn doors. AND usually, its not flooded with people! ;)
I seriously love every single one of the images from his session! I could just take his pictures all day long! And those big baby blue eyes... who could resist?! ;)
